Pre-evaluation of Credits

With the 1999 university reform, the so-called university credits (CFU) were introduced in the Italian university system. The attainment of CFUs allow for a shortened course of study.

The university will recognize university credits to all the students who:

  1. Have taken examinations of any kind, as long as they are consistent with the chosen course of study, at Italian and international universities;
  2. Have attended courses at schools managed by public and private institutions (military schools, public administration schools etc...);
  3. Have passed the examinations to qualify as a freelancer;
  4. Have held professions or jobs involving skills consistent with the chosen course of study (managers/officials of ministries, banks and national bodies or associations).

Students may request the recognition of university credits at the time of matriculation. However, this is a complex operation that requires a great deal of information about the student's entire educational career, educational activities and work experiences.

eCampus University offers such service free of charge. However, in order to perform it, the University must request all the necessary information.

In order to request the service, please download the form for the recognition of credits in .word or .pdf format. The documentation must be filled in and sent to the following email address:

To download the recognition module, the candidate must be registered to the Academic Portal eCampus.

By filling out the form, you can obtain an opinion from a special committee. The opinion is precautionary and non-binding: the Faculty Council makes the final decision.

Should you experience any difficulties in filling in the forms, you can contact the Help and Guidance Service, which is always at your disposal at the following numbers:
