Prova Pratica Valutativa (PPV) – Lauree Magistrali Abilitanti di Psicologia LM-51
Pursuant to Articles 1 and 3, Law N. 163, November 8, 2021, the final exam for the Master's Degree in Psychology - class LM-51 qualifies graduates to practice as psychologists. To this end, the aforementioned final exam includes a practical assessment of the professional skills acquired during the internship included in the study program, aimed at assessing the candidate's level of technical preparation for professional qualification, which precedes the discussion of the dissertation.
Candidates who attain a passing grade for the practical assessment internship within the study programs are admitted to the final exam.
SESSIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
For LM51 graduates, eCampus University will activate, for the academic years 2024-2025 and 2025-2026, the PPV (Practical Assessment Test) sessions for qualification for the Register A of psychologists indicated in the calendar, which can be downloaded below:
The basic requirements for participation and application are:
- Students are eligible to take the final exam, including the Practical Assessment Test (hereinafter referred to as PPV) provided for in Article 3, paragraph 1 of Ministerial Decree n. 654/2022, which precedes the discussion of the dissertation, are students of the LM-51 Master's Degree Course in Psychology who enrolled on or after August 1, 2023, and who meet the following requirements:
- have successfully passed all the exams required for the LM-51 qualifying degree program;
- have, on the date of submission of the application for admission to the PPV, submitted their degree application and dissertation;
- have obtained a passing grade for the TPV activities equal to 30 CFU of professional training activities throughout the entire training program (bachelor's and/or master's degree).
- Candidates must meet the above requirements at the time of submitting their application, otherwise it will be deemed inadmissible.
PPV REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
- In order to participate in the PPV exam session, you must complete the online registration form and attach the following documents in PDF format;
- Copy of a valid ID document;
- Copy of tax code;
- Receipt of payment of the exam admission fee, as provided for in Article 2, paragraph 3, of the Prime Ministerial Decree of December 21, 1990, amounting to €49.58, to be paid by postal account no. 1016, available at post offices, made out to ""Agenzia delle Entrate — Centro Operativo di Pescara Tasse scolastiche". You must indicate the mandatory reason for payment (to be written on the back of the payment slip): “fee for admission to the state exam for qualification as a psychologist, Register A”; d. Certificate of suitability completed and issued by your Psychology Tutor at the end of the Practical Assessment Internship; e. A copy of the European Disability Card (EDC), if applicable, accompanied by a specific request for the type of assistance required and/or additional time.
- The final step in the online application process for the PPV requires, as a necessary condition for the evaluation of the application, the payment by the candidate of the amount of €516.00 (€500.00 as a university admission fee + €16.00 stamp duty) as a registration fee, to be paid through the PagoPA system.
- If the relevant University Office finds that the admission requirements are not met and/or that the documentation required for the evaluation of the application is incorrect or incomplete, it will notify the candidate by ordinary email, requesting the correction or integration of the documentation, or notifying the candidate of their exclusion from the admission procedure, in all cases where the defect cannot be remedied.
- Applications to take the PPV exam must be submitted no later than the deadlines set for each scheduled session, in accordance with Article 1 of this announcement.
- Applications submitted in a manner other than that prescribed in this article will not be considered.
- By submitting the application for admission to the PPV, candidates reserve a place in one of the sessions scheduled by the University. The exact date of the practical assessment test will be published on the University's institutional portal at the following link:

HOW TO PARTICIPATE
The oral exam for qualification as a psychologist is held in person at one of the following university locations: Novedrate*, Padua, Florence, Rome, Naples, Bari, Cagliari, Reggio Calabria, Catania, and Palermo. The exam will focus on the activities carried out during the Practical Assessment Internship (TPV) and on the links between theories/models and professional practices, as well as on aspects of legislation and professional ethics.
Pursuant to Article 3, paragraph 3, of Ministerial Decree N. 654 of 2022, for the purposes of assessing the candidate's level of technical preparation for professional qualification, the PPV selection committee shall be composed of at least four members, with equal representation of both parties. Half of the members of the selection board are university professors, one of whom acts as chair, appointed by the department responsible for the course, and the other half are members appointed by the National Council of Psychologists, after consultation with the relevant professional associations, who have been registered with the relevant professional association for at least five years.
