STUDENTS

TPV – L-24

This section is related to students enrolled in the Bachelor's Degree Program in Psychological Sciences and Techniques L24 (new educational offer), students who have enrolled or requested transfer to this degree program starting from August 1, 2023.

The regulations provide that students enrolled in the Master's Degree in Psychology - Qualifying - are admitted to take the final exam, including the Practical Assessment Test (hereinafter referred to as PPV) that precedes the Discussion of the Final Dissertation, subject to obtaining a passing grade in the practical assessment internship (TPV) worth 30 CFU (750 hours): 10 CFU (250 hours) acquired during the Bachelor's Degree in Psychological Sciences and Techniques (L24) + 20 CFU (500 hours) acquired during the Master's Degree Program in Psychology (LM51-Qualifying).

Students enrolled in the Bachelor's Degree Program in Psychological Sciences and Techniques (new program) must therefore complete 10 CFU (250 hours) of Practical Assessment Internship (TPV) during the three-year Bachelor's Degree Program in Psychological Sciences and Techniques (L24).

In the following sections, you will find all the information relating to the L24 TPVs - new training offer - with particular regard to the relevant legislation, internal regulations, activities, calendars, and activation procedure.

ACTIVITIES and LOCATIONS

The Practical Assessment Internship (TPV) consists in supervised practical activities (laboratories, practical exercises, simulations, discussions and case studies, field activities, observation of processes/contexts of professional interest) aimed at developing technical and operational knowledge, procedural skills, and initial awareness of the professional context, which are preparatory and fundamental to the development of more advanced professional skills.

The 10 credits relating to the TPV must be acquired partly in the second year (5 credits) and partly in the third year (5 credits). those who enter directly into the third year must acquire all 10 credits in the same year, in 5 different areas of psychology (developmental psychology, clinical psychology, neuropsychology, general psychology, research, and occupational and organizational psychology), as summarized in the following table:

For every CFU, the teaching commitment corresponds to 25 hours, divided between classroom activities and synchronous online training activities, as indicated below:

Activities may be carried out at one of the following branches:

Novedrate Rome
Catania   Bari
Cagliari   Palermo
Naples   Florence
Padua   Reggio Calabria

Face-to-face lessons are held on Fridays from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

WHAT SHOULD STUDENTS DO?

After enrolling in the second year, students may request information on the TPV by contacting their ToL, their university branch, the Internship Office (available by at tpv@uniecampus.it), or by viewing the related section on the academic website under TPV-L24.

STEP 1

Students must register for TPV activities through the dedicated section on the platform:

Area riservata – Lezioni e Laboratori – TPV – students register for the date/location of interest"

N.B. IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR BOOKING: - Students may NOT book more than two TPV areas at the same time

- Only once they have been accepted for one TPV area can they book to attend a new area - Students must take care when booking to select the date they are interested in and the location where the activities will actually take place (for example, if I live near Novedrate, I will have to select the Novedrate branch or the one that is easiest to reach from my home);

N.B. It is possible to change the location where the activities take place for a period of time.

- Reservations will close on the Wednesday before the date of the TPV activity in presence at a University branch.

- Students who enroll in the TPV and are enrolled in the second year may ONLY participate in second-year activities. Students who enroll in the TPV and are enrolled in the third year may participate in both second-year and third-year activities without any prerequisites

STEP 2

Once they have attended the presential activities, students will be required to complete a number of exercises under the supervision of the TPV tutor, through participation in synchronous online meetings.

Please refer to the Training Agreement, which must be read and signed by the student. Reports and exercise materials produced by students must be uploaded to the appropriate section: Reserved Area – Lessons and Laboratories – TPV – the booking summary opens – next to the booked date, a dedicated section opens where you can communicate with the teacher (e.g., forum for direct contact, uploading materials).

STEP 3

At the end of the TPV activities, each tutor will express an opinion on the suitability of the activities carried out and the skills acquired by the student. The suitability assessment will be recorded in the student's university record book. See also the Training Agreement in this regard.

If the suitability assessment is not achieved, the intern will be required to repeat the internship activities for which they were not deemed suitable.
